It was no waste of time checking out one of music's best performers. Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats took to the stage at Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown NY as the sun set and the temperature dipped into the low 50's. In other words the perfect night for an outdoor concert.
The Night Sweats started the set with Nathaniel making a grand entrance as only he can, in a white coat and white hat with killer signature moves! I'll say it loud, I'll say it clear this dude can dance.
The crowd was immediately drawn into the soulful voice of Nathaniel as they played new singles like 'Hey Mama' and old favorites like 'SOB' The night sweats are a force to be reckoned with, it was a stellar performance that featured the horn section and their incredible connection as a band.

As the temperature continued to drop Nathaniel played a solo version of 'I'll be waiting' and encouraged all the couples to get close. We here at Empire West are big fans of all the studio albums but there is something so special in hearing his voice live. The crowd continued to warm up as did the music, a dance party was in full effect. We were treated to more of Nathaniel's signature moves and giant smiles from everyone on stage as the show went by too quickly.
