I was ecstatic when I was contacted by The Eastman School of Music inquiring about my music photography services! I ended up being hired to photograph jazz legend Mynton Marsalis as part of their 'Eastman Presents' concert series.
It was an honor to be photographing inside the incredible Kodak Hall at Eastman Theater.
Wynton and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra played their swinging version of popular christmas tunes to a packed and overjoyed theater.
After the stellar performance Wynton took the time to meet with Rochester City School district children and talk to them about music. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to have photographed this special moment with him and the kids.
