Les CLaypool and Primus took the stage as one of the first to play the newly renovated Dome in Rochester NY. The 8 million dollar facelift is impressive to say the least. Mr. Claypool gave his approval to the new venue, remarking "it feels like we're playing in a spaceship"
Over the last 20 years as one of the best bass players in the world Les Claypool has had several different musical brigades, of those Primus is the most well known.
The sound, lighting and vibe were all dead on as Les, Larry(Ler) and Tim(Herb) treated the huge crowd with songs from their albums Sailing the Seas of Cheese, Tales from the Punchbowl, Green Naugahyde, Pork Soda, Brown Album and Primus & The Chocolate Factory with the Fungi Ensemble.
With support from CLUTCH this show was one for the record books.
