Yellowcard has been part of the soundtrack to our lives for the amazing times and through the rough ones too. That's why we were so excited to hear they were coming back to New York on their 2015 tour promoting their new album "Lift a Sail"! Out now on
Razor and Tie Records!
The sold out show was held at the magnificent Town Ballroom in Downtown Buffalo, NY. and as Ryan said, it was the most fun night of our lives!
There's something about Yellowcard fans that always make each show feel so special! Ryan told the crowd "sing till it hurts, if you don't know the words make them up" and that's exactly what every single person did!
Sean Mackin started the show with his amazing violin intro into "Transmission Home" and immediately you could feel the intense energy that only Yellowcard can bring! Sticking to the new album "Crash the Gates" followed. The introduction of guitarist Ryan Mendez and bassist Josh Portman is totally seamless. They are both extremely talented and a blast to watch!
It was clear there is a whole new YC following with a huge response from the crowd when Ryan asked who was at their first YC show, but they didn't leave out the old fans like us. Playing songs from 'Lights and Sounds' 'Southern Air' 'Paper Walls' 'When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes' and 'Ocean Avenue' there was plenty for all the fans! This is a show you do not want to miss!
